In a previous entry I believe I wrote how THE MAN was having a difficult time at work with no respect no appreciation and just a not very nice place to be at all. I know work usually isnt a nice place to be. But there is something wrong when your job makes you completely and totally miserable, when you start getting ulcers and feeling sick because of work that is a problem.
Today THE MAN had a meeting with his two bosses to clarify the crap that has been going on and basically inform them that things need to change, not only that but to also question why things are happening the way they are. In short he was informed that his job was being phased out. NO not fired he is being phased out. Corporate feels that they want to contract to outside agency's for their daily computer needs (corporate has no idea). Yep so in short he has been treated like crap, used and abused because he was going to be let go anyways and whats worse is that they werent even going to tell him.
Apparently all this is supposed to happen by June. I guess there are a couple good things that come out of it. THE MAN needs a change a big change whether it is work or personal he needed a change. This forces him to make a change. He is supposed to be gettign a good severence package so that would be helpful. He has been talking about a job change or going back to school so now he can pick.
I on the other hand am secretly hoping this makes him want to make one other change. Yes the moving in thing. I still dont get it but I respect that he doesnt want to. I understand that its not that he doesnt want to because of me but that he doesnt want to hurt me or make any mistakes. News flash no matter how hard he tries to not make mistakes he is going to make them, if he wants to or not. Its called life, and learning about life is called making mistakes.
Depending upon how you look at these events of today they could be a major catastrophy or just a bump in the road. Im hoping its just a bump in the road, I'll keep you posted and you can judge for yourself.
