More serious note.
This is an entry that is a little more dark then most my other entries. I think this entry will have a little more substance and will be more than just a rambling of my passing life. It will get some sort of reaction from nearly everyone, and everyone whether they know it or not has an opinion.

I know I have a few american readers and for those of you reading I want to make clear, I like americans just dont necessarily agree with the way you do things and how they are done. By you I mean the government. Apparently there are many americans who now feel the same way. So onto todays topic.

Iraq, the abuse suffered in the Iraq prisoner camp by the hands of the american soldiers. When it comes down to it, fingers will be pointed at the leader and should they be pointed in that direction. Whether it was a direct order to treat the prisoners the way they did or the lack of orders that allowed these soldiers to act with cruel malice. It all boils down to the leader and the ultimate leader is BUSH.

I have had a few conversations the past couple days and some people have said well the Iraqies deserve it. "Do you think they would do any less to us. Hell the other day they dragged a body behind a truck" All I can say to that remark is, does that make the americans any more right. The old saying two wrongs dont make a right.

The americans went over to free Iraq from a dictative government, a beast, an inhumane person who treated his people like dogs. In fact dogs had a better life then some Iraqi people. The americans need to set an example. Nedd to show these people that a government is not cruel, how can you set an example when the people who claim to be helping you are treating your people with such little respect.

Now I do understand that these people in the prison camps aren't innocent people. They are terrorists, they are on the opposite side, they are the enemy. By treating the prisoners the way they have doesnt make the american government any better then SADAM. When it all boils down its a fight for control, the american government claims they never went to Iraq to control it just to help liberate it from its leader. Then why are they still there and why are they acting the way they are towards there prisoners. This isnt a TIT for TAT game.

An american lost his life the other day. Beheaded, something you normally read about in history texts. It is brutal, and the americans are playing with fire. They are forgetting the Iraqies have lived in a brutal world for many years. They are used to brutality, they will dish out 100 times worse then we could ever imagine.

The last words the man ever said was "My name is Nick Berg. My father's name is Michael. My mother's name is Suzanne," he says. "I have a brother and sister, David and Sarah. I live in Philadelphia." One of Mr. Berg's captors then pulls a knife from a belt on his waist and begins to cut the American's neck, amid chants in Arabic of "God is Great" and the victim's screams. The executioner then displays Mr. Berg's head before the camera.

That is brutal, gruesome and heart wrenching. These people live in that world, it is an everyday reality for them. Perhaps the american government and military troops should think again before they mistreat another person. The blood of Mr Berg is on the hands of his fellow countrymen as much as his captors.

Need to start realizing all of our actions have consequences, perhaps if the americans had been a little more humane, Mr. Berg would not have died in such a horrific manner. Then again maybe not but we will never know. All I can say is that we are supposed to be better. Can not forget they are not on american soil, it is not american land not american laws. The mission was to liberate and get rid of Sadam. The mission was a success, now let the people form a new government and get OUT.

We should be setting an example. The american military has not done that.
