Yesturday I had my appointment with the weight specialist. I was worried and a little anxious about going. Lately every doctor I have seen has been a jack ass towards me. Most docotors dont want to even investigate your illness or any other problem. They look at you and say your need to lose weight. This is true but at the same time there are other reasons that are making me feel the way I do not just the weight. Only the doctors dont want to hear about it. And the ones that do mention anything about the weight make it totally your fault your fat and its so easy just diet. Well if it was that easy I would have done it and I wouldnt be FAT moron.
Yesturday after being with the doctor for several hours and he ran a few simple tests, he told me that I was the lucky candidate of not one but two genes that make me predispositioned to be fat.

FIRST THING TO KNOW: There are NO doctors in ontario who are doing gastric bypass surgery and the waiting list in quebec is 4-6 years. If you think you can find a doctor who will do the surgery be my guest and try but I have searched and I have been to dozens of doctors trust me when I say there are NO Surgeons doing this type of surgery in ONTARIO. However there is some good news. OHIP has been paying for people to go to New York to have the surgery done. Ontarians have been going to Rochester New York, the doctors office there is more then happy to help and answer any questions. Keep in mind they are extremely busy. Dr O'Mally is going to be my surgeon barring no complications between now and then. I have already called his office and it will be a 4 month waiting period. I can handle that. I am in the process of filling out my "pre-approaval application for full payment of insured out-of-country health services" form. Also known as form 1442-84. Click on HealthyOntario.com on the right side of the page, click on forms and appications near the bottom you will find form no 1442-84. printit off and fill it out. Tomorrow I will go into how to fill it out and who to submit it to.
