Just a Thought
I was watching the news and I was upset by what I heard. As everyone is aware In august much of Ontario and Many of the Northeastern states had a black out. Anyhow now our government is saying that there is probably going to be blackouts more frequently in toronto area and maybe other areas due to a shortage. The governement is now talking about possibly raising the electricity charges. To give us an incentive to cut back on the consumption of electricity. Here are a couple questions for you to think about.

1)Has anyone seen the big flood lights on at the baseball fields, out door hockey rinks, stadium parking lots, Parking lots that are closed after 6 or on weekends. WHY are all the lights on when it is not in use?

2)Has anyone seen the big office buildings usually in the downtown areas? WHY must they leave the lights on all night long when no one works after 5 or 6?

3)Street lights, why not have every second one light up? That is half the lights, thats alot of lights.

4)Why must it be the everyday man that has to absorb and pay the price for the governments lack of responsible funding and conservation of resources?
