So we went camping this weekend. It wasn't like we chose to go earlier in the week or that we could even really cancel. This is a yearly thing we do with our friends. There is anywhere between 10-25 people that go this year there was 17 of us. This is a popular camping destination so we always book our campsite for The June 10th weekend in or around that date, and it is usually done in February to ensure we get the sites we want. They always know we are coming and we always book the same 5 campsites. :) It is also right close to the washrooms....LOL with the amount of drinking everyone does it is WAYYYYY handy. The park is also able to warn any other campers that we are a noisey crew and they usually keep families with children a little further away. Simply because we like to do our annual rap off around the camp fire. Anyways this weekend we drove up Friday afternoon and arrived around 4pm it was lightly raining so we all took turns helping each other put up the tents to ensure the inside of the tents didn't get to wet. It is amazing how fast we can put things up. We had put up, 8 tents 1 tent trailer and our "tarp town" and "mini shelter kitchen area". Yep we had quite a set up. Friday night it was cold really cold. So cold that for once my feather down duve did not keep me warm. I had a pair of jogging pants, 2 pairs of socks, t shirt, 2 sweaters and 1 jacket all on while I tried to sleep under my feather down duvee and still I was ice cold. So Saturday we drove into the small town to a small discount store and bought two more blankets. Last night we slept like two bugs in a rug. We were sooo cozy.
Our friends took their 10 week old baby who was soooooo good. Anyone should be so lucky to have a baby as easy as him. heck unless you saw him you would never even know he was there.
